Text Box: Beyond The Limits: Day Habilitation Center

Text Box:                  This summer the Hutto Public Library hosted their annual Summer Reading Program.  This consist of weekly shows at the Library, prizes, and encouraging reading and literacy.  For the past two year Beyond the Limits has participated in the program, and this year was no different.  This was a fantastic year for us, as we had 80% of our clients participate in the program.  That is compared to 50% that completed it with us last year.                   Those who participated either read or listen to stories twice a week for 5 weeks in addition to going to shows at the library.  The shows consisted of a Reptile show, puppeteer, ventriloquist, and even a sing-along day at the library.                   Overall it has been a fantastic summer and has encouraged many of our clients to start reading on their own now, and that is the point of the whole program!

Text Box: The magic gnomes that apparently run the internet are on strike, so we are working to fix the website

Text Box:           As a good bye to our friends that our only with us during the summer, we will be having our annual end of summer pool party at the end of this month.  WE have a day long trip to the pool and also the fantastic staff cook amazing barbeque.       This is sure to be a greatly needed escape from the heat and a fun day overall for everyone.  We have been discussing pool safety in preparation for this, so everyone is extremely excited about the party.       If you care to join us feel free to contact me at mjs5652@gmail.com for more details.

Text Box: This month we will be   concluding the work we have been doing on our covered patio.  Now it is enclosed, has faux grass, and has a misting system set up to help cool us on those 100 + degree summer days!
